Job Location: Orlando, FL
The Business Insights Manager is an important member of Disney Central (DC) and Contact Centers around the world and will discover and translate data into operational insights. You will analyze data from performance systems for Contact Centers for Disney Central, Disney Vacation Club (Member Services and Sales), DRTSC, Disneyland Paris, DSS, GES, and Guest Services Contact Center. You will synthesize data from applications such as Zendesk, Live Person and Nexidia to produce insights and voice of Guest reporting. You will partner with internal technology teams for ongoing support, process improvement, identification of new Nexidia and Zendesk categories, use of new data information and the output of these systems. You will also lead vendor support efforts to accomplish these tasks.
You will report to Senior Manager, Project Development & Insights.
Responsibilities/You Will:

Provide consolidated insights analysis and voice of the Guest reporting and recommendations.

Partner with leadership to define query development processes, standards, continuous integration and testing principles.

Provide high-level estimations based on initial requirements.

Develop testing plans for all new work to use in validation of recommendations.

Work with leadership to develop individualized continuous improvement plans for each of the supported contact centers.

Lead the expansion and testing of requested functionality and reporting outputs used for analysis for supported systems at any of the supported contact centers..

Work with diverse teams across cultures and varying departments with varying priorities.

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of technologies and developments that can be leveraged to provide insights into the business.

Partner with other teams to ensure reporting is developed which allows the business to understand the Guest insights and develop action plans around that data.

Perform ad hoc analysis as necessary.
Basic Qualifications/You Will Have:
-
4+ years work experience in business analytics or analytical-based data projects.

Recent experience with Nexidia, Zendesk or Live Person.

Experience designing Tableau reports.
-
Experience working with multiple types of data sets.
-
Proficient in Excel, understanding multiple functions such as Vlookups, Pivot Tables, and Data Analysis.

Experience with the Agile method.

Experience keeping project work within timeframes while maintaining high quality.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with unstructured data

Demonstrated proficiency with SQL and SAS.
Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Education:

Master’s Degree, preferably in business, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
