Overview:
An excellent new opportunity is now available for an experienced analyst in Finance who is passionate about establishing the FP&A function as a valued and trusted business partner to the Director Finance and General Manager of our India organization. The appointee will be responsible to connect senior managementโs long term โstrategic planโ to reality.The strategic plan is a top-down, senior management driven document that sets high-level targets (revenue, net income, core strategic initiatives, etc.) for the firm anywhere from 2-5 years in the future. FP&A analystโs job is to assist in developing the operating and financial plan required to achieve managementโs strategic plan.
Responsibilities:
Support the Annual Operating Plan Process , Monthly or Quarterly / Forecast, Actual and Variance etc., and regular interaction with headquarters on approval and reason out with justification.
- Monthly Forecasting and provide analysis of Revenue/Spending by Product line/Cost centre in line with AOP.
- Able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
- Analysing trends & providing proactive recommendations to the finance leadership team by highlighting potential business risks & opportunities.
- Provide variance reporting and investigative analysis against budgets, forecast and performance results
- Identify and resolve gaps in reporting which will value-add to the business by capturing and analysing data
- Financial month end responsibilities and MIS reporting.
- Assist senior management with analytical requests or ad hoc reporting as required.
Support local and global initiative and process improvements.
Qualifications:
This position is open to internal and external candidates having a commerce background, with a CA/MBA qualification with 4 to 5 years of post- qualification experience.
- Excellent analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers.
- Strong PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications such as SAP, Analysis Tool,
- Strong Excel skills in data compilations and aggregation (pivot tables, VLOOKUP etc.) Self-motivated, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Desired: Experience working in a MNC environment with sound understanding of global processes and transaction flows Proven financial leadership in supporting multiple & complex organizations
Effective communication and interpersonal able to quickly grasp new ideas Adaptable/Flexible, being open to change in response to new information, different or exceptional circumstances with Confidence/Assertiveness.
