Job Location: Dubai

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement reporting and analysis tools for sales and distribution management to improve market share, revenue and profitability
  • Provide analysis of inventory, pricing, and marketing data and provide actionable recommendations based on findings
  • Provide support to sales team to strengthen distributor relationships and sales, trade marketing, brand, new product launches and commercial activities by reporting and analyzing the Sales and Marketing activities
  • Conduct sales data analysis to improve brand performance at local market and help in developing country specific planograms and following up on execution
  • Leverage brand, consume and marketplace data to recommend marketing objectives, strategies and activities for the brand plan
  • Provide insightful data analysis for budgeting and sales forecasts; ensure pricing levels are identified and margins are improved and achieved
  • Monitor the accuracy and efficiency of sales reports and external intelligence essential to the sales organization and recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed
  • Ensure monthly & weekly data maintenance and validation of distributor extracts
  • Keep a tab on data and information so that any rejection can be detected and acted upon before it affects the results
  • Collect, consolidate, and generate weekly sales forecasts (month and quarter focus) and roll up each week’s numbers to sales management
  • Conduct root cause analysis by digging into of issues using data when an issue is triggered
  • Monitor stocks and stocks transfer within different locations
  • Provide inputs for the review of sales & merchandiser team performance
  • Proactively analyses win-loss data and reports on key findings to sales leadership
  • Track and analyse key metrics, implement, and manage reports and dashboards ensuring sales reps and managers have access to key data required to successfully manage the business
  • Conduct analysis to identify key insights, trends, and patterns by using available business data, identify issues/ opportunities and suggest (and drive) solutions and provide support in devising actionable strategies from customer insights

The candidate should be:

  • Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Analytics/Finance
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the business analytics in a FMCG company preferably in UAE/GCC
  • Able to demonstrate an analytical bend of mind in all tasks/projects/collaborations
  • An expert in using different analytical tools and should be capable in creating reports, dashboards & PowerPoint presentations and can provide quality output in a timely
  • Good at advance usage of MS Excel (very comfortable with pivots, data models, quick data transformations etc)
  • Meticulous and systematic in maintaining data and should be comfortable with handling large datasets
  • A well-rounded person who has a good track record in teamwork and collaboration
  • An out of the box thinker in providing solutions and be agile in getting things executed
  • Prepared to visit markets and outlets to align on implementation of activities across the market, if needed
