What you’ll be doing
– Ensuring that appropriate development processes which are consistent with industry best practice are in place and followed by the team
– Taking accountability for the documentation and mapping of data processes from both internal and client perspectives which accurately deliver the data requirements proposed
– Delivering supporting documentation and requirements for the Data Governance framework
– Supporting the build of terms of reference and control documentation and taking minutes for meetings
– Representing Data Governance and Design in each campaign or project creating a positive relationship that can be backed up through measurement, supporting each campaign to deliver the correct levels of data required
– Demonstrating a working knowledge of wider business practices that can support new approaches and ways of working to help continually improve the department, delivery output and ultimately the company
– Working closely with colleagues in the Group Central Services team to ensure a positive image is presented at all times and close working relationships are created
– Creating a governance model to ensure all are aware of infrastructure operation, usage and performance
What you’ll need
– Graduate or above
– Minimum 4 years’ experience as Data Business Analyst
– Sound understanding of data sources, data dissemination (Data Schema, Data Dictionaries, Table Structure Mapping and Visual Flows and Schematics), data warehousing, data modelling and experience writing SQL queries
– Understanding ETL – Extraction, Transformation and Loading
– Hands on experience on SSIS – (SQL Server Integration Services) & SSRS – SQL server reporting services
