Essential Duties:
- Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
- Ingest data into Amazon Snowflake environment through API calls
- Transform API data into usable data through use of ETL software
- Monitor health of daily data processes by checking API stability
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to lead and collaborate on strategic business analytics projects across business units
- Provide cross-functional strategic and tactical support
- Determine opportunities for integration of information systems into Tableau
- Drive consistent, reliable, single-truth, operational data capable of enabling business partners to make guided discoveries
- Run ad-hoc analyses to help drive projects and key business initiatives forward
- Establish standard work practices to ensure consistency across reporting, analytics solutions across multiple divisions, business units, departments
- Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, DM and regular interpersonal communications
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Protect WeDriveU’s reputation by keeping information confidential
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience in relational and dimensional datasets, data warehousing, and ETL techniques to deliver Bl solutions in a business environment with large-scale complex datasets
- 1+ years’ work experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
- 1+ years’ work experience creating API calls
- 1+ years’ work experience in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, or similar functions
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to use data to back up assumptions and develop business cases
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of data/information structures, modeling, and data management
- Experience partnering with business owners directly to understand requirements and advise on the analytical method needed to solve the problem
