- About the Role
The Analytic Enablement and Operating Model (AEOM) team within Enterprise Analytics and Data Science (EADS) is seeking an Analytic Manager (Analytic Enablement & Remediation) who will be responsible for leading a team of analysts through highly visible top of house, regulatory driven efforts. This role will drive cultural change, ensuring data governance initiatives are understood and adopted by the organization and will be responsible for cascading engagement-specific objectives and use these to drive performance evaluation across the delivery team.
The Analytic Manager will partner with the data management team, data domain owners and data stewards, and sandbox business owners to lead a team that will work to ensure risks are appropriately identified and aligned to corresponding LOB ownership.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead a high-performing team to deliver recurring process data discovery for a set of lines of business on the Sandbox Remediation Team
- Responsible for scoping, planning and delivery of data discovery and ingestion for remediation data elements to help identify recurring process risk inside of the legacy sandbox inventory
- Create the framework and process to discover and ingest remediation data elements into the current sandbox inventory process
- Lead efforts with business partners to identify risks and controls inside of analytic sandboxes
- Collaborate and partner with Control Executive, Senior LOBs executives, BDLS, relationship managers and sandbox owners.
- Required Qualifications
- 14+ years (overall experience) including 6+ years of people management and leadership experience, leading teams in technology, data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis
- 8+ years of experience working as a data steward or within a data governance organization responsible for specific data policies and procedures, delivering analytic, strategy execution or customer operations value in a line of business or function
- 7+ years of experience with provision and catalog data assets and critical data elements including but not limited to: asset tagging, glossary management, and lineage, providing quality rating management through data profiling and data lineage and investigating data quality case management and root cause analysis
- Experience and knowledge in ETL technology on any of the major platforms, such as Informatica, Ab-Initio, or other comparable platforms
- Experience in database platforms (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server)
- Exposure to reporting and Business Intelligence methodologies and tools
- Experience maintaining relationships with varying stakeholders and information experts across the enterprise
- Knowledge of Banking, regulatory, risk and compliance requirements is a must
Desired Qualifications- Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders to establish effective partnerships, influence, negotiations and alignment.
- Proven track record in delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Experience in creating and presenting executive level briefings with metrics, dashboards, etc.
- Experience with technology data platforms that provision sandboxes
- Understanding of SDLC including waterfall and agile methodologies
- Understanding of stakeholders and information experts across the enterprise to catalog and maintain metadata definitions and quality thresholds; trains data stewards and creates effective stewardship processes
- Manage preventative and detective controls: develop and manage custom data quality rules, audit compliance to standards/policies, monitor rule execution, act on results
- Maintain, follow and update changes in existing SOPs
