About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant to join its Committee and External Reporting team, which is responsible for activities associated with executive leadership and committee reporting and administration. These activities include Audit Committee, and other Board level committee reporting and executive level management reporting including CEO report.
The individual selected will actively engage across Internal Audit teams, business subject matter experts, and other internal operational teams to drive enhancements to existing reporting processes and technology, with a particular focus on automation.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute upon analytical strategies, and advanced data visualization for complex business and technical needs
- Work with team members to create useful reports and dashboards (leveraging Tableau, Excel, etc.) that provide insight, improve/automate processes, or otherwise add value to the team
- Recommend and implement technical and process solutions to maximize operational efficiency, quality, accuracy, and integrity of reporting
- Lead and execute the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques, advance data from multiple sources, and mathematics behind data analysis across the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, and coordination of highly complex activities
- Design and lead complex projects, analyses, and application of techniques across the department
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise
- Provide technical expertise in the areas of architecture, design, and implementation
- Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations
- Participate in community of practice and benchmarking to bring best practices to reporting and administration
Required Qualifications, US:
- 7+ years of Analytics and Reporting, Financial Modeling, Statistics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years experience developing with BI software (MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik etc.)
- 1 year experience developing Tableau dashboards and analytics
- Knowledge and ability to design and build visually appealing, performant, low-maintenance interactive dashboards
Desired Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience in data analytics or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, audit operations or strategic planning
- 4+ years experience with SQL or stored proc coding for data integration and or data mart solutions
- 3+ years experience developing on, populating, or validating analytic data models
- 3+ years experience documenting, translating complex business requirements into specifications
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to analyze datasets; identify patterns and trends and report relevant results to the team
- Ability to work alongside LOB audit teams, business partners, or management team and add value
- Proven ability to manage user expectations, build credibility, solve problems through partnerships
- Strong communication skills and careful attention to detail and accuracy
- Working knowledge of the Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) Issue Management platform

Pay Range
$96,600.00 – $171,800.00 Annual
