About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Management Manager in eIDF group within Enterprise Data Assets.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage daily operational execution for data governance, data quality or metadata
  • Evaluate, recommend and implement strategies for developing and ensuring adherence to a data integrity governance framework
  • Manage the research and data quality strategies within a business group or functional area
  • Develop strategies to prioritize and remediate data quality issues that align with business needs or regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Recommend and execute the development of audits and controls structured around business processes and data quality target state and metadata standards
  • Manage individuals and matrixed teams focused on defining data quality requirements and delivering on data integrity initiatives
  • Manage operational execution of activities related to all stages of the remediation lifecycle
  • Direct team in developing solutions, tools and processes used to maintain a common, companywide data quality, control standards and data sourcing
  • Partner with other leaders across the firm to ensure consistent approach and direction on companywide remediation efforts
  • Serve as single point of contact or escalation on low to medium priority issues
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4+ years of Data Management, Business Research, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of Leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ Years SQL experience
  • 4+ Years of experience working with various Data Platforms including Consumer, Commercial, Securities & Derivatives, Deposits, Party and Reference Data sets
  • 4+ Years of experience in Data Profiling, Data Mapping, Data Sourcing, and Functional/Data Testing
  • 4+ Years of experience leveraging Tableau, Power BI or other reporting/dashboard technologies to perform analytics
  • Exposure to industry-standard Commercial and Consumer banking platforms such as AFS, Loan IQ, Black Knight (MSP), Hogan, etc.
  • 4+ Years of working knowledge with Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Dictionary, and/or Data Lineage
  • 3+ Years of experience working on complex cross domain programs/projects


Job Expectations:

  • Lead team of data analysts that enable transformation efforts across the bank including External Reporting (Reg Reporting, SEC, etc.), Risk, and other use cases
  • Provide direction to data analyst team in performing data analysis, identifying data gaps and documenting data requirements for eIDF
  • Partner with customer teams to provide inputs and continuously refine our interaction model, delivery roadmap, and data architecture
  • Assist Finance and other customers in strategic remediation of data gaps and controls in accordance with Data Management Policy
  • Engage with eIDF Build and Operate teams to prioritize resolution of data gaps and data quality issues and deliver additional functionality based on customer requirements and priorities
  • Develop and track metrics to monitor progress and performance of team in accordance with program, eIDF, and DMI objectives
  • Serve as part of eIDF leadership team to provide strategic inputs to eIDF roadmap and quarterly milestones (Shippable Products, QBR metrics, etc.)
  • Create go-to-market plans and supporting materials to highlight eIDF data sets and value-added capabilities. Serve as brand ambassador for eIDF and partner with groups company-wide to identify potential use cases.
  • Present to senior leadership teams across different business units on data available in eIDF and how it can be leveraged for various initiatives
