The Independent Testing and Validation Team is seeking a Lead Independent Testing Officer to support the IT&V Technology, COO, Customer Remediation, Emerging Risk, and Data (TCRED) testing and validation team. Specifically, this individual will be supporting the Customer Remediation and Emerging Risk (CRER) Analytics, Reporting, and Data Testing Team (ARDT). In this position, the individual will facilitate the design/implementation/management of data testing processes and associated critical infrastructure. This position will report to the ARDT Senior Manager within the TCRED team.
In this role, you will:
Responsibilities of the Officer role include, but are not limited to:
- Successfully lead and manage multiple projects across a wide array of highly complex subject areas while ensuring high quality outcomes are achieved and effectively communicated to management
- Ability to synthesize data testing/validation processes across the enterprise and from outside Wells Fargo with the intent of developing best-in-class repeatable and defensible data testing and validation processes/procedures
- Demonstrate strong communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of management and the broader organization
- Provide credible challenge and recommendations to the CRER team
- Maintain authoritative knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations, regulatory guidance, policy and procedure concerning CRER activities
- Identify learning & development opportunities to enhance subject-matter expertise across the team
- Serve as an ongoing point of contact for the sharing of information between data testing teams across the enterprise and CRER
- Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders in the applicable line of business and IT&V functions.
Required Qualifications, US:
- 5+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

- Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, with various levels of management, including senior leaders and executives.
- Knowledge and understanding of audit, regulatory compliance, or risk management.
