Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant to be a key member of the Technology and Data Risk Program Execution Team within the Commercial Banking Technology and Data Risk Program Team. This role will provide a unique opportunity to help the Commercial Banking Business drive business and technology risk control environment strategy and investments through partnership with Business Process Owners, Commercial Banking Control, Payments Risk, Enterprise Information Technology, and Technology Control. The ideal candidates will have a well-rounded risk and technical background with experience in Financial Service Payments processes and driving insights through analysis of data.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Transaction Processing and Execution Risk Program team through analysis of various datasets to provide risk insights to pinpoint areas of opportunity to improve the control environment.
  • Work with Business Process Owners and Control partners to recommend areas where controls may be improved.
  • Review Issues and Operational Risk Event Data to ensure proper alignment with Transaction Processing and Execution Risk.
  • Create regular reporting and analysis to analyze the control environment.
  • Support RCSA review of processes for risks and controls related to Transaction Processing and Execution Risk.
  • Perform deep dive control reviews of applications and processes. Provide recommendations to the control environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Management consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Financial Market Utilities and Payment Lifecycle for a variety of payment types
  • Reporting and Analysis Experience; Ability to provide insights through data
  • SQL, Power BI/Power Query, and strong Excel manipulation skills
  • Background in managing or identifying controls in processes and/or applications
  • Experience as an application owner on the business or technology side
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of Frontline Risk Assessment Methodologies like RCSA
  • Experience in risk reporting applications such as SHRP and Tableau

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
  • Ability to work in the office at least 3 days per week (unless on an approved accommodation)
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
