Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst in the Portfolio & Analytic Control Unit (PACU) which is part of Global Funding & Collateral Management (GFCM) within Corporate Treasury. Role provides reporting/analytics/data governance/controls to support other GFCM teams (Collateral Management Unit, Securitization Funding, Global Funding, Multi-Currency Treasury Americas, GFCM Policy & Governance). Position also works with GFCM and other Treasury partners to analyze Bank’s securities collateral and funding portfolios for optimization and liquidity improvement opportunities. Role offers challenging opportunities to be involved in development of reporting and analysis via business intelligence tools, work with big data and gain insights into various lines of business as well as bank funding, capital and liquidity metrics.
In this role, you will:
- Manage/support global treasury functions-funding, liquidity risk/asset/ liability/capital management, financial performance management, collateral management, related activities
- Monitor and evaluate global market conditions; understand transaction flows; work with large data sets/complex data analysis/data visualization/reporting to provide support for GFCM requirements and strategic priorities
- Oversee and become a SME on daily/weekly/monthly reporting; be responsible for complex reporting and analytics
- Ensure data quality/establish controlled processes with accurate, compliant recurring deliverables
- Collaborate with Internal Audit/Corporate Risk Management/Model Governance teams/regulatory agencies/treasury partners/technology/accounting/consulting firms
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics or Economics or equivalent from training, military or education
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented accuracy; reporting/analytics at major financial leader preferred
- Knowledge/understanding of securities collateral and/or global funding and treasury finance
- Intermediate SQL, SAS, Hadoop or other data management/querying tools; big data experience preferred
- Tableau, Power BI or other business intelligence/reporting tools experience
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Effectively present/explain complex analysis to cross-function stakeholders and leadership
- Proven process improvement experience and ability to maintain comprehensive process documentation; take ownership and work independently with minimal supervision
