In this role, you will:
Work with various agreement builds into internal systems including various mapping exercises as well as ensuring all data processed is complete and accurate. Independently resolve and work with complex issues and processes. Research and resolve issues pertaining to cash payments, customer, pricing, collateral management, credit, general ledger reconciliation and work with the Documentation Group to resolve complex confirmation and ISDA trade issues the resolution on all trade-related issues.
- Provide operational and customer support for lifecycle tasks for institutional trades
- Assist with client account onboarding, input and monitoring of cash payments, customer service, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, asset servicing structured loan operations, general ledger reconciliation and work to resolve complex confirmation and ISDA trade related issues
- Assist in gathering data to support resolution of issues
- Respond to Derivative Clearing Service Groups related inquiries in an accurate & timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of department and industry specific process and procedures
- Receive direction from manager and exercise judgment within defined parameters of the area while developing understanding of various functions, policies and procedures
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience utilizing Salesforce processing system or similar workflow tools
- Working knowledge of the collateral agreement build process and the Colline System
- Knowledge of the clearing process for OTC cleared products, OTC products, ISDA agreements
- Knowledge of the GMI application including an understanding of futures and options processing
- Experience in business analysis, working with project management
- Highly motivated with ability to drive results
- Independent thinker yet adaptable to a procedure oriented and a fast paced environment
- Have the ability to work independently on project related details and provide management and clients with ad-hoc information as needed
- Ability to multi-task, perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to solve problems otherwise escalate them immediately to the Manager to seek resolution
- Ability to effectively communicate with management, operations, technology, finance, and other areas within the bank and will be encouraged to escalate risk and any processing concerns promptly
