About Corporate Finance
Provide centralized finance capabilities and support to executive management, and Business and Enterprise Function teams. The team manages the overall forecasting process and provides financial advice and analytics on enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. Corporate Finance is also responsible for internal management reporting and all centralized finance processes, tools and applications.
About Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) group manages a team of subject matter experts providing management financial reporting and forecasting. FP&A plans, tracks, analyzes and reports financial results and forecasts; is responsible for financial controls; and assists with financial analysis and information to support corporate strategy.
About the Role
We are seeking a high caliber Data Management and Reporting individual contributor; the successful candidate will be the key contact and business partner to Corporate Finance and Line of Business Finance stakeholders. The candidate will be required to provide detailed financial data management, reporting and analysis the business groups.
Responsibilities
- Understand business data needs, data subject areas, data models, and end-to-end solution to meet user needs.
- Translate requirements into epics/stories for conformed and curated data
- Should be technically strong in one of the RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL, Teradata)
- Sound knowledge in relation data query language, can retrieve data and manipulate with complex query logics in data integration form one data base to other
- One should have exposure to Hyperion/ESSBASE cubes/data sets to quickly integrate into SQL data base
- Able to write work around functions with complex stored procedures
- Handling Data integration between ETL tools and Data base servers(Essbase to MSSQL preferably) or any others
- Good knowledge on building data marts with required data modelling techniques
- Experience in setting up high scalable data governance models, with data quality
- Recommend Design Qualification requirements based on Data profiling and business use
- Demonstrated experience with data cleansing and data profiling activities
- Minimal working experience on SQL server management
- Identify data access roles and entitlement needs for consumption
- Nimble in coming up with quick work around solutions using open source scripting language Python for data profiling, data wrangling and cleansing
- Working knowledge in one of the BI reporting tools(Power BI/Tableau/MicroStrategy)
- Should have sound knowledge on data profiling, data lineage and able to perform data integrity checks.
- Should have strong knowledge on regression/parallel testing, nice to have experience in preparing abstraction data layer.
Essential Qualifications
- Graduate / Post graduate in Technology, Engineering or related academics with 5 to 8 years of experience in Technology or financial or banking sectors
- 6+ years of expertise in RDBMS data bases (MS SQL, Oracle , Teradata)
- 3+ years of experience in SSIS integration services
- 5+ years of expertise in complex data management projects
- 2+ years of expertise in Data Integration/Migration projects(Essbase to MSSQL)
- 2+ Python language experience
- 1-2 years of experience in BI reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau)
- Good to have VBA coding experience
- Strong data management capabilities using Excel, including Advanced Excel features and Databases (RDBMS)
- Have excellent attention to detail and recognize the importance of detail to ensure data integrity
- Must be able to work independently with positive collaboration within a team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to give briefings to senior management
- High integrity and do what is right, fair and respectful
