Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant…
In this role, you will:
- Work on Credit card operational reporting requirements , Credit and Merchant Services (CMS) Operational Analysis Reports and other Credit card related projects
- Work on general purpose credit cards product business problems from acquisition to retention
- Work on product/offer strategies based on customers value and behavior segmentation
- Perform customer performance vintage analysis, loyalty analysis as part of retention strategies
- Implement cutting age analytical solution to solve Retail Financial product problems
Required Qualifications :
- BE/BTech degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics
- Minimum of 6+ years hands-on Analytics experience in data analysis, reporting or modeling
- Good analytical, technical and statistical skills, high conceptual problem-solving, high level of comfort in dealing with unstructured, ‘white space’ problems.
- Demonstrated experience with techniques and programming tools including a high level of proficiency with large databases/data warehouse (SQL server, Teradata) and tools such as SAS / SQL

Desired Technical Skills:
- Handling medium to huge data in SQL server database, decoding sql code and optimizing queries
- BI Tools: Tableau, Power BI
- Applications: MS Office (Access, Excel, Word), SharePoint, JIRA
- OS: MS Windows
- Experience in machine learning techniques
- Experience in working on statistical techniques like segmentation, regression, Decision trees, forecasting
- Knowledge of Python, R, Text analytics (NLP)
- Financial services experience (Credit card knowledge is a plus)
- Post Graduate degree (M.Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent) in any quantitative subjects like Statistics, Mathematics, Computers or Economics is a good to have.
