CMoR Model Governance: The CMoR Model Governance Team is responsible for establishing policy and procedures and providing independent risk governance leadership for all models used across Wells Fargo, including assessing, reporting, and escalating model risks and controls across the enterprise. The team works closely with model users, group model governance teams, Corporate Functional Model Oversight (CFMO) teams, and various teams throughout CMoR to manage model risk across the firm.
The Role:
The Model Governance team is seeking an experienced senior MIS Analyst who would be an individual contributor with responsibilities to create reporting and PowerPoint presentations for a variety of different audiences. This is an exciting opportunity to extract data from various sources, analyze patterns, draw conclusions and present results that influence important business decisions. Model risk management is an area of expanding focus and scrutiny, requiring a vision for future expectations around model risk management and an appetite for a constantly evolving process. This position will influence many stakeholders across the bank.
Responsibilities:
- Generate Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports by using advance excel functions
- Prepare presentations in power point &dashboards as per the requirements of management
- Create reports in Tableau and modifying existing Tableau reports as needed
- Running various weekly and ad hoc reports in Tableau or Excel
- extract data from various sources, analyze patterns, draw conclusions and present results that influence important business decisions
- extract and analyze data to monitor adherence to policy requirements
- Create data visualizations that communicate information effectively
- Develop and document processes and procedures
- Work closely in developing enhancement programs based on process excellence initiatives and training schedules for new team members
- Drive tasks and projects within the programs, including status, issues and risks, escalation and resolution
- Effective escalation and remediation of issues
Essential Skills:
- University degree in statistics, math, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in the areas below:
- BI tool capabilities – Power BI/Tableau

Microsoft Excel – Expert Level
- Advanced VBA Skills (Macros, Integrations, Power queries)
- Complex formula authoring, array functions, dynamic named ranges, pivot tables, data validation, conditional formatting.
- Excel Visualizations (Advanced Graphs, Pivot Reporting)
- Dynamic dashboard design, leverage Excel charting capabilities.
- Knowledgeable in best practices of spreadsheet design (aesthetic formatting, controlled timing of formulas/calculations, messaging user during stages of a macro, etc.)
- PowerPoint – expert level
- Model Governance knowledge
- Strong project management skills, including ability to work to deadlines and give realistic estimates.
