Brief Job Description
The team is looking for a Software Web Development Engineer to participate in developing, deploying, and sustaining critical operations systems that drives wafer manufacturing. You will be part of a supportive team working in a demanding and fast-paced environment that values quality work, creativity, and results. In this role, you will be developing applications and features to support operations and will be responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software systems that incorporate optimization and visual analytics to solve complex problems.
- Work with multiple business functions to procure feature requirements, test data, and business insights.
- Develop and maintain software documentation and user manuals.
Qualifications
Experience and Skills Required:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields
- 6 years of experience in the following areas:
- Building Full-Stack Web Applications
- Modern PHP & JavaScript development
- HTML5, DOM knowledge
- Data Visualization (d3.js, Chart.js)
- Web Frameworks & Cloud Services
- Developing REST APIs
- Database storage solutions, such as Object vs. Relational, MySQL, NoSQL, Oracle SQL, MSSQL, DB2
- Implementation of Redis/Memcache in existing ecosystem could be a huge plus
- Message Queues and Event Services ( eg. Kafka)
- ETL Processes, Large-scale data storage and processing solutions
- Knowledge of factory systems, operations, and analytics
- Ability to diagnose systems
- Documentation and Charting/Diagram skills
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Distributed computing, virtualization, and containerization in Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Linux kernel knowledge
- High availability systems knowledge
- Load Balancing
- Gateways
- Failover Strategies
- Redundant Architecture
