The opportunity:
WestRock has embarked on the One WestRock Business Systems Transformation initiative, a multi-year program aligned to our Path to One goals to become the world’s best paper and packaging company by 2025. The Lead IT Business Analyst position is a part of our IT and Digital Business Systems Transformation technology team.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Application Standards, the Lead IT Business Analyst will be responsible for enhancing a system template to drive standardization supporting the Consumer Packaging Systems Modernization (CPSM) initiative. This role is critical to the successful delivery of a rapid rollout and adoption of the CPSM system model in an accelerated timeline, in support of the wider One WestRock objectives. Key activities include gap analysis in each facility as part of the global implementation plan, on-going evaluation and prioritization of system enhancements, and working across the IT network to identify solutions for business requirements.
This role will serve as a trusted partner, advisor and thought leader on the future state technology landscape (ERP and legacy systems environment), and systems implementation.
How you will impact WestRock:
Manage system implementations and upgrades, training of users, resolution of problems and promotion of best practice
Continuous review of systems with the view to improving business process efficiency, including the use of e-commerce, machine systems and other third-party solutions
Coordinate system enhancements to ensure widest application across the business and adoption of best practice
Prioritization of issues with internal and external suppliers to focus efforts and resources
Test changes to systems prior to implementation to ensure they are effective and meet the user requirements
Coordinate the implementation of any enhancements or changes to systems to ensure minimum disruption and maximum utilization
Communicate with colleagues, users, and managers on the issues and changes to systems/modules to ensure minimum disruption, maximum utilization
What you need to succeed :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Packaging, Logistics, Operations Management, or equivalent experience working directly with Radius Packaging Suite implementations and support
8+ years in Business Analysis, ERP systems
Experience of delivery of training within a systems environment
Experience within a manufacturing environment in an IT or business role
Excellent oral and written communication skills across business and technical stakeholders
Be a self-starter and proactive towards action and result oriented approach with a can-do attitude
Excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience of Radius Packaging Suite and associated value add products such as PrintFlow, AC4D, VWT, Daylight would be advantageous, but training will be given
