ABOUT THE JOB:
The Analyst, HR Systems will use their detail-oriented, analytical and technical skills to champion the effective use of system applications supporting the Human Resources function. The primary focus of this role is to support the daily operations of the HR Information Technology team while providing guidance and excellent customer service to employees, managers and human resource professionals. This position plays a vital role in troubleshooting issues, developing and testing solutions, supporting technical documentation needs and team readiness for technical change reviews.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Assist team members with technical issues related to the use of Human Resource systems
- Monitor incident system and process requests
- Provide technical expertise in the field of next generation reporting tools including support for the development of business intelligence reports leveraging data warehouse capabilities
- Develop and analyze scenarios for technology upgrades and new implementation
- Ensure testing is coordinated with the Business recipient and ensure that change requests impact on Training material or Process documentation is completed
- Perform system maintenance including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades or patches collaborating with Information Technology teams to coordinate applications documentation process, result tracking and documentation for technical change management activities
- Participate in department meetings providing metrics, analytics, and documenting and augmenting process information as necessary
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree Preferred)
- 2 years of Human Resource systems experience (SAP SuccessFactors preferred)
- 2 years of data analytics experience
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- SQL Proficiency and experience with Data Visualization tools (e.i. PowerBI or Tableau) and data warehouse (i.e. Snowflake) is preferred
- Experience with quality assurance testing, scripts and bug reporting procedures
- High attention to detail, accuracy and integrity
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
- Ability to document processes and construct useful demonstrations and knowledge transfers for business users
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed work environment
- Strong ability to pivot and adjust priorities as business needs change
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
