Here’s the Gist
:
The Supply Chain Planning Analyst position is a cross-functional position that fills an essential role generating and executing supply plans and factory schedules to meet customer demands and revenue targets for the Wolfspeed business. In this role, the Planning Analyst works closely across Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, Marketing, and Planning to coordinate factory capacity, material needs, and output requirements. This position also contributes to long term continuous improvement projects. This individual must be a self-motivated leader, a skilled communicator, and effective collaborator across multiple functional groups that can be assigned projects and drive process improvements.

  • Responsible for tactical supply planning for a group of products or manufacturing stages to support customer demand and revenue targets at Wolfspeed
  • Create, modify and manage production plans used by all stages of manufacturing to drive factory output plans
  • Understand end customer requirements and align production for predictable customer deliveries
  • Manage planning parameters, yields, cycle times, NPI launch timelines to ensure accurate customer plans
  • Optimize capacity plans in working with factories, engineering and operations management to maximize the output and minimize mismatched orders
  • Provide Early Warning of delays in supply to stakeholders and lead effort to reduce customer impact by working with Engineering, Quality and other internal organizations
  • Work with Operations to improve material flow efficiency
  • Coordinate with Engineering to maximize yield and minimize costs
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of systems for daily, monthly and long-range plans
  • Managing inventory levels to support a vertically integrated supply chain
  • Participate and contribute to upcoming enterprise wide SAP implementation and end user training.
  • Metric ownership examples: OTD to Commit, Revenue Attainment, Delinquency, Mismatch reduction, Leadtime Accuracy

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
  • BS, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or other Engineering field
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong personal work ethic
  • Experience being assigned projects and driving process improvements
  • Extensive experience in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
  • SAP implementation experience, or working knowledge of SAP Enterprise Planning system and process is a strong preference
  • Semiconductor or high-tech industry experience with Power or Automotive
  • NPI planning experience
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen and end-to-end supply chain knowledge
  • Experience across multiple aspects of the supply chain, i.e. with previous roles in manufacturing planning, inventory management, demand planning, etc.
  • Comfortable analyzing large and unrefined data sets
  • Advanced knowledge: Tableau, Microsoft Excel
  • Expertise in data acquisition, spreadsheet/database development and analysis
