The Business Intelligence Analyst IIIโs (BSA III) role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations intelligence in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The BIA III is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize performance and improve the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with decision makers, operation leadership, and utilize end user data to define business, financial, and operations requirements and key performance goals.
- Lead design sessions in prototyping new processes or technology enhancements for the purpose of improving performance or customer experience.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing data and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these sources for budget, performance, and customer experience insights.
- Identify and establish business case parameters to define outcome criteria and measure success versus investment.
- Lead collaborative efforts in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new reporting for mid and senior level leadership.
Competencies Required:
- Excellent data analytical skills with experience utilizing standard business intelligence programs such as PowerBI.
- Excellent programming knowledge with Microsoft Excel.
- Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage workload in a high-pressure environment and to instill a sense of urgency in others as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively identify and develop solutions for business needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
- Excellent process and project management skills.
- Strategic and problem-solving mindset with developed analytical abilities and organizational skills.
- Exceptional verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- 10+ yearsโ experience with implementation, gathering and analysis of business intelligence and utilizing results to drive business improvement required.
- 5+ yearsโ experience with technology implementation preferred.
- 3+ yearsโ experience in contact center operations within the banking or financial services industry required.
- 3+ yearsโ experience designing and gathering voice of the customer feedback and utilizing results to drive business improvement preferred.
Formal Education & Certification:
- Bachelorโs Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting or related field, preferred.
Work Status:
- Full-Time.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- None.
Travel:
- Up to 10% travel expected.
Working Conditions:
- Professional call center environment with extensive use of telephone and personal computers. Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
