Job Detail:
–Candidate for this position must have over 6+ years of experience in a senior DevOps engineering position within a fast-paced and fast-evolving environment
–Evaluate new technologies in the field of infrastructure automation and cloud computing
-Look for opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and automation
-Provide DevOps capability to teammates and customers
-Resolve incidents and change requests
-Document Solutions and communicate it to the users
Role & Responsibilities:
-Expert in the solution architecture discipline, processes, concepts, and best practices
-Exposure to a process improvement discipline (i.e. Six Sigma) used within a technology supported business process implementation
-Project-based process design, information modelling and/or system architecture in at least one of the following:
Application Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Information Architecture, Data Management, Security,
or Infrastructure technologies
-Provide operational support for applications, systems, or infrastructure. Conceptualizes, architects, designs, implements, and supports integrated solutions in support of business demand.
-Must have experience of any one of the programming languages (Java, .Net, Python )
-Ability to select appropriate AWS/Azure/GCP services to design and deploy an application based on given requirements
-Ability to evaluate cloud application requirements and make architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications on AWS/Azure
-Familiarity with AWS CLI, AWS APIs, AWS CloudFormation templates, the AWS Billing Console and the AWS Management Console
-Familiarity with Azure CLI, Azure REST APIs, Azure Resource Manager template, Azure billing/cost management and the Azure Management Console
-Experience with implementing Cloud Governance systems to monitor usage and recommend best cost-effective practices
-Build and Deploy infrastructure using Terraform, CFT, ARM, Azure DevOps.
-Utilize various open-source technologies to develop DevOps Scripts
-Use various tools to orchestrate solutions
-Build independent web-based tools to automate
-Write scripts and automation using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash
-Configure and manage data sources like MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop etc
-Understand how IT operations are managed
-Manage source control including SVN and GIT
-CI/CD pipeline setup/deployment
-Experience working with Azure SDK
-Good Knowledge on Azure PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS offerings
-Good Knowledge on Azure Security
Required Skills:
-Advanced experience with Linux incl. Scripting (Bash, Python)
-Advanced experience with Cloud Infrastructure / Cloud Services (preferable on Microsoft Azure)
-Container Orchestration (Kubernetes,docker)
-Log and metrics management (ELK Stack), Monitoring (Prometheus,loki,Grafana,dynatrace)
-Infrastructure as code / Deployment and configuration automation ( Terraform)
–Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery ( Jenkins, Nexus etc.)
-Infrastructure Security Principles
-Advance experience in Helm and CI/CD pipelines
-Advance Experience in configuration of DevOps Tools such as Jenkins ,sonarqube,Nexus,etc
-Exposure to SDLC or Agile process
-Networking
