Provide client support services on Manager Self Service and Employee Self Service applications. Develops training materials, user documentation and conduct training sessions for Lawson users. Develops training materials in conjunction with systems analysts for Employee Self Service applications. Maintains Lawson HR code table changes. Develops test scripts and coordinates testing of changes in the Lawson HR module. Reviews and processes security requests for Lawson HR/Payroll applications. Validates accuracy of all HR Lawson Portal security roles on a quarterly basis..

    1. Provides client support services on Manager Self Service and Employee Self Service applications . Researches and solves issues with Managers experiencing Manager Self Services problems or HR applications issues on Employee Self Service. Responds to Helpdesk tickets and HRConnect cases within the service level agreement guidelines.
    2. Responsible for developing test scripts and coordinating the testing of HR systems upgrades, patches and issues with all HR users. Coordinates the documentation of test results. Develops test scripts for all HR system users. Maintains Lawson code table changes, including, but not limited to, department and certifications tables. Researches and resolves social security number issues on Big Iron and assigns social security corrections to other feeder systems as needed.
    3. Reviews, coordinates and processes end user security access requests for all Lawson related features such as Manager Self Service, Employee Self Service, Lawson Portal, HR Oracle and Crystal Reports. Assists in processing security access requests for Lawson HR/Payroll applications. Reviews the quarterly Lawson security roles for accuracy on a timely basis.
    4. Completes Personnel Action transactions that cannot be processed through Manager Self Services such as executive new hires and salary changes, organizational transfers and transactions that involve multiple process level. Provides back-up to other HRIS staff as need arises, including running critical jobs. Assists functional users inresearching HR system issues, as they arise. Runs validation jobs to ensure feeds to third party vendors are processed correctly.
    5. Researches and resolves issues with Lawson HR issues such as Absence Management, MSS, etc as they arise working with the local functional users to test solutions.
    6. Works in conjunction with functional users to define system change requests and report requests.
    7. Develops training materials and conducts training sessions on enhancements to the system for functional users.
    8. In conjunction with Corporate HRIS systems analysts, attends project team meetings, takes notes to ensure specification and enhancement requests are documented appropriately.Tests new HR applications as they are developed. Creates training materials and user documentation for HRIS web applications.
    9. Provides consultation to Health System departments on procedures and processes affecting HR network and applications.
    10. Assists other departments with quick HRDB and MSAccess report requests as needed.
    11. Learns and demontrates a working knowledge the Absence Management module to assist with troubleshooting issues.
    12. Learns the applicant tracking and on-boarding system to assist with troubleshooting issues.
    13. Keeps abreast of recent developments in the Information Systems field as related to HR products. Participates in professional development programs. Participates in the evaluation and recommendation of HR software products.
    14. Performs other job related duties as required. Attends HRIS related meetings as required.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline or training and work related experience or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience with analysis activities in Human Resources, with at least two (2) years of experience coding HR systems required.

SPECIAL SKILLS

In-depth knowledge of Lawson or comparable HR/Payroll system set up. Understanding of impact of shared systems. Ability to develop training materials and conduct training sessions. Working knowledge in MS Access or SQL on TOAD to build queries for research and issue resolution. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required.
