Summary:
ICQA Engineer will ensure that our Fulfillment Center operation process is of the best efficiency and quality. The role is held accountable for continuously improving and optimization of our order fulfillment flow. This position will focus on cycle-counting and related analysis/research to understand and correct any variances in our inventory, including but not limited to: bin fills rate, FIFO, SOP a, and 5S audit. ICQA Engineer will also be responsible for developing an audit checklist, identifying/analyzing issues, documenting findings, and correcting errors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring our warehouse team performs inventory count on daily bases
- Check location size and accuracy based on order volume and bin fill rate
- Conduct daily walk-throughs to check expiration dates and quality of product and identify any quality issues
- Audit warehouse employees to follow SOP (standard operation process) in the entire operations processes
- Understanding of audit processes and highlighting any discrepancies as well as analyzing customer-facing metrics
- Communicate issues to related operators and work closely with cross-departments to resolve quality issues
- Develop audit reports and build root cause analysis reports to provide specificity/detail in analytical output(s) and to drive a deep understanding of the problems/defects and improvement activities across core process teams
- Participate in team projects upon request
Qualifications and Requirements:
- BS in Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, Process Engineering, Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management
- Prior experience in Inventory Control preferred
- General understanding of the inventory management of a high-volume warehouse operation
- Knowledge and ability to use standard development tools e.g. Excel, MS Visio
- Detail-oriented, care about data and operation accuracy, with the ability to identify and implement a system to minimize discrepancies or errors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in bilingual language English and Mandarin
