Job Description: Data Engineer
Job Location: Bangalore (WFO)
Roles and Responsibilities
-We are looking for a savvy Data Engineer to join our growing team of analytics experts.
-The hire will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams.
-The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up -Designing and implementing data solutions, Data warehouses best-suited to deliver on our customer
-needs and use cases — from streaming, to data lakes, to analytics, and beyond across a progressively evolving technical stack.
Education & Basic Qualifications
-At least 5 years experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer or Data Analyst
-Strong working knowledge of SQL and the ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries
-Production experience one or more core data platforms: Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, Hadoop,Databricks
-Experience designing and developing customer data pipelines for data extraction using Python, and
-SQL is highly preferred
-Fivertan, DBT knowledge will be a great advantage however its not mandatory
Any of the following experience is a plus:
-Production experience in core data platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP, Hadoop
-Complete software development lifecycle experience including design, documentation,implementation, testing, and deployment
