Job Location: United States
9 month contract for a Jr. Financial Analyst with experience developing workflows/automations in Alteryx Designer and/or building Power BI Dashboards.
100% remote
Participate in all phases of the financial system product lifecycle from business problem identification to solution deployment. Provide the primary functional and technical production support to end users of financial systems and intelligent process automation tools. Contributing member of a project team implementing new process optimization and automation initiatives.
- Analyze current state business processes and identify process optimization opportunities through reengineering, digitization and automation
- Facilitate discovery & design sessions with end-users, IT and primary stakeholder resources across departments
- Develop various documents, including business and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, user guides, process flows, and end user training
- Work with automation program team to develop strategy and governance for the broader organizational intelligent automation program and goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on automation and process optimization projects, using a technology and process optimization mindset while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and return on investment
- Provide support and mentoring to team members and finance end users on intelligent process automation tools, concepts, and technologies
- Perform functional analysis, identify gaps, and design solutions to fill gaps
- Collaborate with IT to ensure that technical design, unit and functional testing, deployment, and implementation meets business requirements and properly documented
- Perform functional testing and quality assurance activities
- Perform project management tasks in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle for small and medium sized projects
- Provide operational and technical production support for deployed automations for end users within finance
- Make major enhancements through an agile software development life cycle
- Develop project documentation in collaboration with ITโe.g., project initiation documentation, budget, project plan, and resource plan
- Responsible for product quality, project timeliness, and customer satisfaction
- Identify root cause of issues and collaborate with IT to develop and implement solutions
- Develop production support procedures to align with financial audit requirements
Knowledge/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, related field, or equivalent experience. 1+ years of experience.
Preferred:
- Experience working with Alteryx Designer, Power Query and/or other ETL Applications
- Power BI/Tableau development experience
