In Mumbai, we develop “legal tech” and “regulatory tech” solutions in the form of a modular online platform called “Zeidler Swift” to help the international asset management industry with their global legal and compliance challenges. About the Role
We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer who will be creating AI-based algorithms in software. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will be responsible for solving a wide range of problems from natural language processing to timeseries prediction. You will be defining & implementing experiments and developing strategies to balance long and short-term business objectives.
You will create, test and implement ML models, along with the handling of AI infrastructure.
You will partner with and mentor junior team members.
The role will involve understanding the problem, identifying the solutions, and develop technological solutions.
The day-to-day job responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- End-to-End hands-on ownership on AI/ML projects.
- Building quick Proof of Concept (POC) feature around Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Predictive Analysis, and Machine Vision.
- Evaluating feasibility of projects.
- Working with cross-functional teams and leading the path of value driven AI/ML features that are innovative and deployable.
- Describe the logic and implications of a complex model to all types of stakeholders such as Product Owners, Engineers, Designers, Senior Executives etc.
- Produce production code reusable by others.
- Deploy AI/ML solutions into production.
- Apply AI/ML knowledge to problems and create end-to-end solutions from scratch.
- Prioritise and manage multiple projects.
About You
Required skills:
- Minimum 3 Years of experience working with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow), artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and/or deep learning.
- Good hands-on Python and Flask/Django.
- Hands-on experience with building AI/ML solutions for large-scale online B2B or B2C applications.
- Experience applying Machine Learning, Statistical data analysis analysis to large scale data.
- Knowledge and experience in some of the key AI Platforms like Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services, Google Dialogflow, Chatbots using Micrsoft Bot Framework.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g. Pytorch, TensorFlow etc.) and deep learning architectures (e.g. RNNs, CNNs, Transformers etc.).
- Experience dealing with unstructured data (text, image, documents) is a plus.
- Need to have Statistical skills with considerable knowledge of statistics, calculus, or algebra, and probability, to boost the AI program.
- Should have a grasp of the concepts of an algorithm and a solid understanding of applied mathematics.
- Experience with Machine Learning & Big Data technologies such as Spark, Scikit-learn, pandas etc.
- Good Rapid Prototyping skills so as to consider a number of ideas as soon as possible to find a viable one. This can be applied to the selection of the right model, A/B testing, NLP libraries etc.
- An eye for details, strong communication, and organizational skills.
