Job Location: Hyderabad/Secunderabad
As a Tangoe Business Analyst, you will drive working sessions with business subject matter experts to understand their challenges and goals and define new processes and technology solutions.
The position is responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, articulating the value proposition for the proposed solutions, and supporting the development teams in their understanding of the requirements as they work to bring them to life.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead analysis efforts to capture current capabilities, identify opportunities for improvement and define potential solutions
- Facilitate requirements sessions and drive the questioning that leads to a thorough understanding of business needs
- Writes, communicates and vets requirements with business leaders using different approaches including as process flows, user stories, use cases, and entity-relationship diagrams to ensure shared understanding and alignment
- Work with business stakeholders to prioritize the implementation of new processes and application features
- Engage with technology partners to communicate requirements and collaborate on solutions throughout the development lifecycle
- Writes user documentation and release notes
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Desired Qualities
- Minimum of five years of experience as a business analyst
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong business acumen and ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong attention to detail, but ability to grasp the bigger picture
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient with process diagraming tools (e.g. Visio, Lucidchart)
- Collaborative, with an affinity for solving complex problems through dialog with other team members
- Inquisitive, always seeking to understand the why and how in order to gain a more complete understanding of the business and technology
- Innovative, with the courage to challenge the status quo and suggest better ways of doing things to achieve business value
- Comfortable with ambiguity can begin to explore and solve complex problems when the problem and solution are not well-defined
- Comfortable with multitasking, working on a few projects concurrently
- Data analysis and design experience a plus
- Experience with BI Tools a plus
- Experience with writing basic SQL queries a plus
