Job Location: Hyderabad/Secunderabad
- Develop and maintain business solutions using SQL and/or APIs to facilitate data transfer between business applications, data warehouses, and data analytics
- Troubleshoot SQL jobs and take necessary action in a timely manner
- Manage and maintain our data warehouse and data marts that consolidate data from various applications and other sources by addressing data duplication, data loss, performance, and reliability issues
- Develop and maintain various connectors including ODBC, JDBC, CData, LinkedServer, IntelliSoft, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Develop and maintain ETL packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Cursors, Views, etc.
- Streamline and document processes and procedures
- Improve data transaction performance by analyzing and altering SQL scripts and dtsx packages
- Build or troubleshoot data connections, schemas, column or data mappings, schedule builds, and Create dashboards using our BI reporting tools
- Create and maintain database scripts that runs on scheduled tasks
- Interact with stakeholders at all levels to analyze and understand project requirements Work with support teams to analyze and resolve any database-related issues
- Ensure effective communication between technical and non-technical functions
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to tight deadlines
Education Experience:
- 5+ years of experience writing advanced SQL/Oracle scripts and queries such as Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Cursors, etc. using SQL Server Management Studio, PL/SQL Developer, and Visual Studio Experience in writing Postgres queries in pgAdmin
- Must have experience in developing ETLs or dtsx packages using Microsoft .Net, and SSIS Must have experience in pulling data from various data sources and business applications
- Must have experience in scheduling various SQL job types such as SSIS, SQL Stored Procedures, and any other .exe files as well as troubleshooting SQL job failures
Nice to have:
- Experience with Python language
- Experience with building and maintaining reports in SAP Business and Crystal Reports Experience in designing, maintaining, and building dashboards on multiple reporting and BI tools and business applications such as Power BI, Sisense, Salesforce, NetSuite, ServiceNow, and Pentaho
