Your Responsibilities as a Data Engineer Lead:
-
Design and develop scalable solutions in close cooperation with subject matter experts and internal customers.
-
Architecting the application design from top down and communicating the same to both product owner and the development team.
-
Use data exploration, reporting tools and have a mindset to share the relevant analysis as data stories
-
Building data analysis pipelines with data from sensors (time series, statistical data) as well as static data from arbitrary file formats.

Ability to analyze and monitor data pipelines in production like spot the bottle necks in Big data workflows
-
Providing Technical trainings, mentoring team, and code reviews.
-
Supporting product owner in the product vision, roadmaps, and backlog refinement.
-
Transform requirements from engineering product owners into technical task specifications
-
Designs, develops, tests, and maintains high quality code, including agile skills
-
Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
-
Be a persistent, creative problem solver, good team player
-
Collaborate with team to brainstorm and create new and improve the products
As a Data Engineer Lead:
-
You will be part of Emerging digital technologies cluster in the ZF – Corporate Research and Development (R&D) division.

You will be part of the global team at ZF contributing to build digital applications,
-
You will be part of building ETL pipelines which analyze and share valuable time series data from real world driving scenarios on an interdisciplinary level.

You will be part of implementing automated data pipelines to develop knowledge graph to build network of data.
-

Qualifications:
-
Profound programming skills in Python, Pandas
-
Design and implement REST API/Microservices using Python web/Rest Frameworks( flask, Rest plus, etc.)
-
Experience in building ETL pipelines using Airflow, Dagster, similar technologies
-
Outstanding program skills with Python and experience in implementing microservice architecture using Python web/Rest Frameworks (flask, Rest plus, etc.)
-
Experience in test driven development using pytest is must
-
Understanding of TensorFlow, Scikit-learn and other data analysis libraries would be an advantage
-
Proficiency in at least one of the databases SQL/NoSQL. Experience in graph database like Neo4J will be an added advantage.

Good experience and hands-on knowledge on Docker, Azure cloud technologies (app services, AKS, ACI, ACR).
-
Experienced in working with Linux, Docker, other distributed systems. Experience working with GIT and GIT workflows.

Solid fundamentals in Data structures and Algorithms
-
Excellent debugging and problem-solving capability
Education & Experience:
-
Must have at least 7 years of work experience.

BTech, or MTech in computer science, mathematics, physics, or equivalent research experience
-
Experience in international (and cross-departmental) projects
