The AI Implementation Specialist will be a remote role in the Global Service organization responsible for the successful design, execution and post-implementation oversight of artificial intelligence (AI) and Object Recognition modules as a part of the OmniSuite Intelligent Integrated OR Suite. Work directly on-site with customers and the Zimmer Biomet sales and service teams to understand surgical workflows and implement AI and Object Recognition modules that optimize operating room workflows and support data-driven decision making.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Leads the design and technical implementation of AI and Object Recognition Modules for OR integration projects
• Guides customer through implementation process design and execution; answers questions on product and technical landscape/infrastructure
• Executes and deploys object recognition trainings and workflows at customer site
• Partners with internal development and design teams to ensure that solutions meet all applicable regulatory, business and customer requirements
• Responsible for post-implementation support and troubleshooting
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert on the product including but not limited to sales, service, marketing, engineering, quality, and regulatory.

Expected Areas of Competence
Experience with AI, Object Recognition, Machine Learning module training and deployment
Demonstrated knowledge of common ML and AI workloads and how to implement them on Microsoft Azure (Conversational AI workloads and computer vision processing)
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous programs/projects
Previous experience or technical aptitude to understand hospital operating room environment and workflows.
Knowledge or technical aptitude to understand hospital operating room workflows Advanced Analytical Skills; demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex process/system issues § Strong back ground in advanced technologies (IoT, Machine Learning, AI, connected device support, robotics, and technology).
Able to quickly adapt to change and approach problems with a flexible mind-set
Detail-oriented with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concept
Excellent time management skills with ability to independently identify and manage priorities based on business needs
Education/Experience Requirements
• B.S. in a technical curriculum (Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, AI Engineering, Machine Learning)
• 1-3 years’ experience in AI, Object Recognition, Machine Learning module training and deployment
• Advance certification in Microsoft Azure (Azure AI and Cloud) a plus Experience with SQL, Microsoft Azure AI, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Computer vision a plus
Travel Requirements
Travel required, travel up to 60% possible
Applicants should be willing to work flexible hours with the possibility of evenings, weekends and holidays

Base Salary range is $70,000 to $80,000 USD
