Data Analyst, Sales & Channel

The Data Team empowers data informed decision making across Zoom. We know that to deliver customer happiness we need to build best in class products. We support this by empowering Sales and Channel GTM teams insights to help them build better products, drive growth, improve customer experience, automate workflows, and cost savings. While providing these insights, we also need to ensure that we’re meeting the consent, privacy, and regulatory needs of hundreds of millions of users worldwide.
This role will be part of the Sales & Channel Analytics team and will be collaborating closely with other data analysts, data scientists and data engineers. The Sales & Channel team works cross functionally with the business stakeholders to extract insights, build data pipelines, and develop statistical models to drive better sales performance, upsell and cross sell, churn management and other key GTM processes. This role will work closely with the Sales, Channels and GLobal Support Services teams to help define, measure and track success metrics and KPIs for Zoom’s products. The ideal candidate will have experience transforming product KPIs and success metrics into clear, intuitive and actionable dashboards. The ideal candidate will also have strong SQL skills in data definitions, data management and data querying to translate business logic into performant tables that power dashboards. This role will also involve analyzing data to answer key product and business questions. This individual should demonstrate strong communication skills, collaboration and an intellectual curiosity. Responsibilities

Collaborate with Sales, Channels and other teams to define KPIs and success metrics for accurate and consistent reporting and actionable insights -
Translate KPIs and metrics into clearly defined, performant tables -
Build, modify and maintain dashboards to track KPIs, metrics -
Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to collaborate on strategy, tactics, and to present findings -
Analyze data to uncover insights, trends and answer key business questions
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as analytics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, or related technical discipline -
Minimum of 8+ (6+ years with a Masters) years of professional experience in a data-driven, GTM analytical role -
Demonstrated previous proficiency in SQL and experience with Python/R and during technical interviews -
Experience in quantitative analysis -
Demonstrated strong communication skills -
Strong data storytelling skills, including the ability to distill technical insights into a clear and compelling narrative -
Experience building intuitive dashboards using BI tools, preferably Tableau -
Experience working independently and as a member of a cross-functional team -
Hands on previous professional experience in sales analytics, preferably at a SaaS company -
Experience with dbt is a bonus -
Experience with Agile methodologies -
Experience leading and mentoring other data analysts
