ZoomInfo is seeking a junior Data Scientist to join our Innovation Data Science team to develop cutting-edge data products in its industry-leading B2B sales and marketing intelligence platform. This role is with our Product Innovation team and will directly support product growth and development initiatives through both direct statistical analysis and utilization of ML/AI algorithms. About Our Team
Our Innovation Data Science team combines product thinking/concepts, ML, analytics and rapid iterative approaches to build an ensemble of data products that drive ZoomInfo’s ability to help its customers hit their business objectives. We are passionate about driving business results with our data-informed insights in collaboration with product managers, engineers and our business stakeholders. We prioritize simplicity when designing modeling pipelines and rapidly iterate in weekly sprints to deliver experimental and production model pipelines.
About The Job
As part of our Innovation Data-Science team, you will be working on delivering solutions for a variety of business problems:
- Build ML models that enable recruiters to target potential job seekers/talent leads
- Develop algorithms to rank leads for sales reps on our chorus.ai platform
- Model and predict relationships among large networks of business contacts
- Develop scoring algorithms that drive confidence and accuracy of any given technographic or geo-location based data point
- Develop recommender systems based on company and individual topic consumption/intent
- Optimize existing ML models in production
- Partner with ML engineers to review and co-optimize technical designs
- Support production and deployment of data science models and pipelines
About You
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in Data Science
- Have a data-centric mindset and willingness to dive into the data
- Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field: Statistics, Data Science, Applied Math, Computer Science, Physics is required, Masters preferred
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and Spark preferred
- Experience using cloud-based data solutions like Snowflake, GCP, AWS or DataBricks a plus
- Experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, SparkML, PyTorch, etc.
- Deep experience using a variety of advanced statistical/analytic techniques to inform development priorities
- Excellent cross-functional and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams and with business partners/stakeholders
