About the Job

We are looking for a Business Analyst/Project Coordinator who will work closely with the IT Project Team members and functional managers on client solution, client implementation, and internal organization projects to provide deliverables on time in a fast-paced environment.

As Business Analyst/Project Coordinator, You Will…

• Identify work packages, coordinate teams, and analyze project information
• Follow up on the progress of work items and communicate with project team members
• Capture detailed minutes of meetings, while organizing and distributing relevant information to appropriate stakeholders
• Ensure the Project Team adheres to provided timelines and deliverables
• Support the daily functions of the Project Management Office and Project Managers
• Provide status updates on projects, indicate key milestones, and take project decisions to leadership for guidance
• Gather, analyze, specify, validate, and document both business and functional requirements of stakeholders, along with customers or business users
• Analyze, comprehend, and document current processes through participation in and/or facilitating of brainstorming sessions, root cause analysis, or other discovery practices with stakeholders
• Perform an analysis of business processes highlighting issues and challenges, then recommend solutions and improvements
• Develop and implement test plans to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Communicate plans, actions, risks, and issues with key stakeholders

Requirements

As Business Analyst/Project Coordinator, You Have…

• A post-secondary degree, or certificate, with a focus in a related discipline (required)
• IIBA Certification (an asset)
• 5+ years experience in IT (required)
• 3+ years experience in Business Analysis (required)
• 1-3 years experience in project coordination/management (required)
• Experience in managing and building relationships with multiple teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills

• The ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization and work with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds

• The ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
• Superior attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
• A team player work ethic with creative problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
• The ability to adapt to changing environments and timelines
• The ability to organize priorities based on deadlines
