The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a JR. Business Intelligence Developer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by
- Building solutions for the Business Intelligence & Analytics team.
- Leading initiatives to expose data and build dashboards for Health Care customers.
- Implementing Report and Dashboard best practices with internal technical team and the AWS support team
- Supporting various stakeholders to ensure consistency within the environment, release management, and the effective use of standards and best practices
- Partner with the Business team, System Architects, Data Architects, and DBAs to resolve reporting inefficiencies.
- Provide operational product support and problem resolution through root cause analysis and other troubleshooting techniques
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
OR
- High School Diploma/GED or higher from a (completed and verified prior to start) and six (6) years of experience in the Information Technology Industry
- Two (2) years of experience developing dashboards and reports using an enterprise Business Intelligence or Reporting platform
- Two (2) years of experience building solutions comprised of analytics derived from large data warehouses or equivalent large data sets
- Two (2) years of experience building simple to complex SQL queries
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems from an accredited institution
- Experience using AWS QuickSight building advanced dashboards
- Knowledge of relational structures, dimensional data modeling, Data Warehouse and BI techniques
- Experience on techniques using Filters, Prompts, Templates, Hierarchies, Metrics, and Attributes
- Work experience in the healthcare industry and/or with healthcare data
- Demonstrated abilities in creative problem solving and critical thinking
- Strong communicator, possessing interpersonal skills and judgment to interact effectively with a broad spectrum of people, both individually and in groups
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
- Agile development methodology experience
Work location:
- Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)
- Location: Remote USA
- Travel up to 5% domestic travel (conferences and major project kick offs)
- Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
