Job Detail:
The Manager of IT Business Analytics enables and enhances business functions with the power of data and insight. This role will manage a team of BI developers and business analysts and deliver the operational reporting and strategic analytics requested by business leaders.
This role requires experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse, Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server.

- Leading the functional solution design, implementation, integration, change control and production support of company-wide BI reporting and analytics needs.
- Leading the development of technology solutions to meet stated business requirements, ensuring compliance with company policies, standards and audit requirements.
- Partnering with business leaders to ensure effective design and delivery of analytics and reporting in financial, people and operational areas.
- Directing the functional design, configuration, solution development, testing and change management activities for new and existing BI and reporting applications.
- Leading the evaluation of requested system changes and the impact of those changes.
- Monitoring ongoing effectiveness of internal controls and data security.
- Keeping up to date with new trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related discipline required
- 6+ years of analytics experience required
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse, Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server
- Experience tracking and quantifying business value of analytics projects
- 3+ years of advanced data visualization skills – development of visualizations and dashboards in tools such as PowerBI
- 5+ years of advanced skillset in SQL or relational type query methods
- Prior experience as an IT application developer and architect highly preferred
- Passion and curiosity of data and business
- Ability to understand and see the business impact of an analytics project while aligning team goals and objectives with the overall business strategy
- Demonstrated record of expert level skills in SDLC (solution development lifecycle) process in enterprise IT environments
- Ability to conceive end product and requirements gathering
- Front-end BI reporting development and maintenance
- Must possess strong analytical and investigative skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to write technical reports understandable to non-IT staff
- Prior experience in B2C, preferably in hospitality/entertainment and/or travel industries a plus
