In this role, as a Technical Operations Analyst you wil join our Infrastructure Incident Management team. The SWAT team is an onsite 24/7/365 central point of contact, communication and incident support for the technology and infrastructure at ADP. This is a support role that focuses on level 1 operational support on a Global Infrastructure Team. You will be a first responder focused on keeping our network, servers, operation systems and applications running smoothly. You will play a central role in the health and stability of our global infrastructure; this will include troubleshooting, documentation, communication, planning, implementation, and coordinating efforts to resolve issues with our partners and vendors.
To thrive in this role, you will need IT experience, network infrastructure experience, Linux OS and Windows OS Support experience and clear communication skills.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Here’s what you can expect on a typical day:
- Collaboration and Communication. You’ll be the point person for developers and operations when they need to find a solution quickly. You’ll listen to their needs, find a solution and share it. You’re comfortable presenting to leadership everything from system designs to new ideas for technology to production incidents.

- Variety of work. There is no typical day. You will support engineers, checking if something is not working and writing the code it takes to fix it. You must be nimble, adaptable, and flexible.
- You’re comfortable working on products with tech never used before. Inevitable challenges will arise, and we’ll rely on you to look for a solution. Fail fast, fail safely.
- You have 5+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- You’ll have a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent IT expeirence
- 2+ years expeirence supporting large enterprise, servers/network infrastructure enviornments, Windows and Linux OS support
- Cisco CCNA certification recommended
- Microsoft or RedHat Linux certification recommended
- Expeirence with ITIL framework including but not limited to certifcation
- Demonstrated understanding of network communication, current server technology, and hardware
- Demonstrated experience, or knowledge, with general IT topics client/server, OS, Database, networking, security, and automation
- Understanding of Active Directory & Domain architecture, DHCP, DNS, File and Print server functions
- Working knowledge of supporting mobile devices, including mobile device management (MDM) applications
- Recommended Scripting skills (Python/Ansible/Bash) or hands-on experience with automation tooling for managing network environments
- Flexibility to work any shift or day of the week, including holidays
- Must possess organizational proficiencies to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
- Must be highly motivated, self-starting, and committed to achieving results and have a strong sense of ownership and follow-through to resolution
