The Opportunity
The Work Itself
- Responsible for creating data/analytical products to provide support to the Auto Finance business
- Partner with the business stakeholders to provide reporting and data solutions.
- Work with business analytics leaders to understand metrics and curate them to make data available In Snowflake tables or Python/SAS data sets.
- Build executive visualization in Power BI/Python from the curated data and present findings
- Must possess experience with Agile methodologies and concepts to manage team’s workload and projects effectively.
- Experience and working knowledge in extracting data from traditional data warehouse, big data ecosystems and cloud data warehouses to produce critical data for business analyst executives and operational leaderships.
- Possess Data Warehousing principals and concepts to help build reporting data marts in Oracle, Big Data platforms: Hadoop and Cloud databases like Snowflake
- Advanced working knowledge of SQL, SAS, Python/R with the ability to write complex SQL statements to build data tables and produce reports
- Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Stays current with industry trends and partakes in development of key data/analytics innovation platforms
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Computer Science, MIS, IT or Engineering
- Exceptional Analytical skills with experience in Auto Finance (Preferred)
- 2 + years of experience in data analysis and business analysis
- 2 + years of experience in reporting tools such PowerBI, Tableau or Cognos.
- 2 + years of programming experience in SQL and writing complex data extraction logic.
- 2 + years of experience in analytical programming language such as SAS and Python
- 2 + years of experience in extracting data from a data warehouse/ data lake environment and have knowledge of cloud-based data tech stacks.
