Job Detail:

Technical Analyst
Location: Currently REMOTE, but MUST be able to work onsite in Vienna, VA or Pensacola, FL
Pay Rate: Open to Both C2C and W2 options
Position Type: Multiyear Contract

Description:
Portfolio Transparency, Metrics, & Risk

  • Collect, review and aggregate metric data across business, operational and delivery for reporting critical information into concise and meaningful reports related to milestones and objectives for executive management
  • Conduct deep dive analysis where key metrics have yet to be fully developed and provide insight into the development of meaningful measures
  • Engage in various data analytics functions across the firm from multiple sources and formats
  • Identify areas of improvement in the development of metrics and work with the relevant stakeholders to determine suitable solutions
  • Design and build dashboards based on stakeholder input at the Portfolio, Program/Product and Team levels
  • Assess and report the health of epic delivery with objectivity, accuracy, and transparency
  • Collaborate with business & technology to ensure reporting consistency around metrics & OKRs
  • Ensure that appropriate stakeholders are engaged in risk identification and mitigation
  • Predict and identify risks/opportunities from interdependencies of epic and product deliveries

Must Have Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Analyst within the IT field
  • 3+ years of experience in an Agile environment
  • 1+ year of experience supporting business portfolios in traditional environment
  • Experience in data analysis and metrics design/development and reporting
  • Reporting skills using advanced spreadsheet design (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, conditional formatting, compound conditional logic, pivot tables, etc.), PowerBI, Tableau or similar tools
  • Able to communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A high-level of attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Strong ability to design and implement dashboards; ability to analyze data and present it in a way that tells a story, especially connecting KPI’s to outcomes
  • Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Team player with ability to build strong cross-business relationships proven flexibility, adaptability, and reliability
  • Knowledge of Mortgage and Financial industry is preferred

Nice To Have:

  • Experience in a SAFe environment with at least 2+ years at the Portfolio level
  • 2+ Years of experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO), Service Now, Asana
  • Query and reporting skills using Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
