What’s special about this team:

This team was created to enable Enterprise growth goals by ensuring a highly relevant product portfolio priced according to the value delivered or perceived by the consumer. On this team you will drive pricing strategy across the Amway portfolio, looking closely at the product profile, market conditions and local benchmarks as well as internal performance, product costs, and role of the product within an Amway Business Owners (ABO’s) offering.

You will be focused on understanding price-value and its role within Amway’s growth as well as identifying opportunities for leveraging value over discounts to generate sales. You will also help to establish a global pricing strategy as well as informing an approach to price governance. This work is focused on delivering impact, as we support our Categories and Markets in delivering against those insights and informing the way we leverage price in the future. The work is unique, the exposures broad, and the visibility is high!

In this role, you will assess the price-value of Amway’s global product portfolio with performance reviews to identify opportunities for maximizing value or closing the price-value gap; ensuring our portfolio continues to be relevant to our target audiences and supports Amway Business Owner (ABO) business building. You will help re-establish a Marketing business capability of Pricing Strategy to identify a simpler, more relevant, and more efficient approach to optimizing price-value so it’s easier for ABOs to sell our products.


Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a consumer product environment with exposure to marketing, finance
  • BA/BS in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver insights from existing data and interpret into meaningful solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage both quantitative and qualitative data for insights and action
  • Talent to “think outside the box”, offering fresh ideas, that will fuel new opportunities


Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Desired Software/System Competencies: Alteryx, Tableau, Excel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Scenario Planning: Ability to create potential models and algorithms to showcase business impact based on various inputs and scenarios.
  • Effective Communication: Effectively communicate and present complex data to influence all levels and global audiences; help others understand data and translate it into actionable business insights.
  • Attention to Detail: Processing, documenting and providing timely information with a high level of accuracy in a usable format, including source data validation.
  • Learning Mindset: Continuously seeks and shares new developments, advancements and knowledge in relevant fields to progress thinking around product, portfolio price-value.
  • Collaborative Attitude: Talent to collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to bring data, viewpoints and projects forward to completion.
