Apple is seeking an expert Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Apple Cloud Services (ACS) organization on the Engineering Efficiency team. ACS focuses on products delighting our customers; a secure, private and groundbreaking cloud platform for our developers and an efficient infrastructure for all of Apple! The Engineering Efficiency team is involved in the day-to-day running of Apple Cloud Services and is responsible for making it an increasingly efficient organization. The team provides operational and strategic support to the global ACS leadership team, with responsibilities including fiscal planning, vendor management, space planning and headcount management, strategy, M&A support, and preparation for key presentations and scorecards.
Key Qualifications
- Lead cross-functional operational efforts using data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities across ACS
- Work closely with the Leadership Team to define the reporting & analytics roadmap for ACS – balancing strategic and tactical information needs for the business
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions in bizops focus areas (including but not limited to headcount, budgets, vendor spend, space and engineering programs)
- Work closely with senior ACS senior stakeholders and managers to understand their data needs & build appropriate dashboards/reports to support them
- Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics
- Ensure accuracy of data and dashboards – work effectively with stakeholders in Finance, HR, Recruiting, etc. to collect, prepare, consolidate data and drive data hygiene
- Manage, optimize and roll out processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables
- Identify trends and interpret data for senior ACS stakeholders to support decision-making
- Prepare and present key scorecards, metrics to all levels of the organization
Description
5+ years of experience working with multiple data sources & databases Creating and maintaining dashboards to inform decision-making Demonstrated ability to build & maintain Extensive experience with data visualization tools: Must-have prior experience with tableau Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously Excellent communication and collaboration skills
