The People Analytics team is seeking a leader with vision in organizational analytics to define metrics and lead analytics in talent management. This position can be based on site in Cupertino, CA, or Seattle, WA.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of proven success in employee insights / HR analytics, and at least 2 years specialized in assessment of performance, talent management, and organizational health (incl. tenure, time in job level, span of control, promotions, etc.)
  • Prefer a combination of consulting and shown experience, preferably in a global role
  • Experience leading strategy on analytics methodology and metrics; identifying what needs to be measured and how to measure
  • Strong facilitation skills to build consensus for strategy across executives, leadership, and cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to run research programs end-to-end, from gathering and articulating requirements; engaging with cross-functional teams to lead launch and adoption; and presenting insights to leadership
  • Experience partnering with development engineering teams to support prototype design/pilots and development of analytic products
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple tasks in a constantly evolving environment. Experience with project management tools, preferably Wrike
  • Very strong communication, visualization, and articulation skills to deliver important insights to shape people decisions
  • Deep expertise with application of a broad range of analytic techniques, including experience with analytics and visualization platforms (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS, Tableau, Python)

Description

This position is responsible for analytics and research program management in the area of performance, talent management, and organizational health. Weโ€™re looking for a candidate who understands innovative and groundbreaking assessment strategies, is an authority in analytics and data science, as well as has extensive experience with translating data into practical insights and linking to HR issues. – Develop an analytics roadmap in the area of performance, talent management, and organizational health. Drive strategy and consultation on analytics methodology in these areas. Secure approval of learning plan through collaboration and agile leadership – Stitch analytics across People teams to provide a comprehensive understanding of organizational health to leaders (Employee Surveys, Leave of Absence, Inclusion & Diversity, Compensation, etc.) – Lead analytics to support the assessment of Talent Management programs for Appleโ€™s corporate lines of business in the areas of organization and talent planning, succession planning, and executive mentoring – Partner closely with our Senior People Leaders to provide the insights needed to enable their teams to lead Talent Management programs within their lines of business – Act as the liaison between the Talent Management Business Partner team and People Analytics Development Engineering pillar, including defining analytic product scope and persona, support the review and piloting of prototypes, run leadership reviews and approvals, and plan for product launches – Conduct sophisticated analytics to support ad hoc requests and explore emerging areas, and ultimately recommend what should be scaled to an ongoing analytic product – Build a deep technical and functional understanding of Appleโ€™s People Analytics domain and solutions – Prepare and present reports and insights to executives and partners

Education & Experience

– Bachelors degree required, graduate degree in organizational psychology/social sciences or statistics/mathematics/economics preferred
