Position Description:
As a Machine Learning Engineer II/III, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Build, deploy, monitor and continuously optimize ML models and develop automated ML models, training guides and inference pipelines
- Research machine learning engineering topics, including ML algorithms, feature engineering, analysis, modeling and production deployment
- Develop training and cross-validation data sets for machine learning algorithms
- Identify new opportunities of applying ML technology to solve existing problems
- Understand clinical requirements and develop technical solutions
Position Requirements:
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related engineering field with an emphasis on machine learning, or relevant experience-
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience or any equivalent education and/or experience from which the following skills and abilities have been demonstrated:
- Solid foundation on statistics and strong analytical skills.
- Deep understanding of and hands-on experience in state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms.
- Strong development skills using C++ and/or Python (and the desire to learn new tools).
- Experience with deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.
- Experience with data science and computer vision libraries including NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, pandas and OpenCV.
- Experience with data discovery, data aggregation and feature engineering with SQL query writing skills.
- Training, evaluating, optimizing, deploying and maintaining machine learning models on production systems.
- Experience applying machine learning algorithms to solve a wide range of optimization problems, such as prediction, recommendation engines, sentiment analysis, deep learning with image and natural language, segmentations/clustering, object detection.
- Comfortable in a UNIX shell environment and in using Git.
- Solid understanding and experience with Object Oriented Design/Programming

Preferred:
- Experience or knowledge with estimation, navigation and sensor fusion
- Experience with using database servers like MySQL, SQL Server, etc.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
