Key Result Areas
Perform Analysis on Raw Data using Python/R+/VBA-based logic.
Develop logic-based programming and write codes to identify duplicates and missing values from the raw data dump
Identify and analyse trends and patterns in data, perform time series analysis, arrest errors/frauds, look for a story in the data
Leverage programming skills to achieve Data mining and deep data insights
Lead/Represent Retail Scan in weekly/monthly project review meetings with the client along with the Client service team. Defend data from reports shared with clients.
Able to conceive what the conclusions from the data might mean and what implications will it have on the brand/category/shopper marketing team
Proficient in the preparation of MS-PowerPoint decks for clients.
Coordinate with clients to understand insight requirements. Work with internal teams to suggest changes in data collection methods and questionnaire
Conceive and implement various analysis tools that can be used to more efficiently perform data analysis from the existing level.
Defend data in front of clients, especially during escalations.
Candidate Profile
Should ideally be post graduate in Statistics with an excellent academic track record. Graduates in Statistics with MBA qualifications are also applicable.
Good working knowledge of Python and/or R+ and using the same for analysing data trends and outliers is required
Experience in working in a market research company for at least 2 years, handling FMCG clients
Handling tracking studies for FMCG clients and understanding of the FMCG market (viz. channels of distribution, different sources from which a retailer buys in the market etc. will be a strong advantage.
At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent data interpretation skills. Expert level knowledge of Advanced Excel tools 7. Good verbal and written communication skills.
