ArsenalBio’s mission is to develop efficacious and safe cellular therapies for patients with chronic diseases, initially cancer. Our products are being designed to herald the transition of adoptive cell therapy from a hospital based treatment to outpatient therapy, like most other cancer treatments.
ArsenalBio is looking for an outstanding intern for the Computational Biology and Machine Learning group. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to address challenging yet rewarding problems in synthetic biology, immunology, and high throughput assays through computational methods and algorithms.
What You Will Do:
- Analyze internal and public datasets from diverse platforms, such as RNA-seq (bulk and single cell), FACS, or other related technologies.
- Streamline computational workflows.
- Prototype analysis methodologies.
- Develop machine learning algorithms.
- Provide data analysis support to cross-disciplinary project teams.
What You Will Bring:
- BS, MS, or PhD (or currently enrolled in such a program) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or a related field.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization with either Python or R.
- Proficiency working in Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: analysis pipelines for
- next-generation sequencing data, single-cell data analysis, flow cytometry data analysis, machine learning for genomic datasets, image analysis.
Desired Skills and Background:
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems.
