Position Summary

The Workday Analyst works with the Snr Analyst to deliver system improvements and maintenance to the configuration of Workday. The role is expected to liaise with business to gather requirements, analyse work process design and flow, improve processes, and leverage the return on technological capabilities. The post holder ensures adherence to project schedules, maintain a systems orientation, and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities, test system changes, report writing and analysing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

Job Details

  • Supports specific HR systems and processes in Workday. Initially, this will include Time off, Compensation, Benefits and Expenses, though work on other modules will be available.
  • Develop and implement a project work plan for each HR system and process to be supported.
  • Gain expert-level understanding of the functionality delivered in Workday or other systems being used to fulfill the requirements of the business.
  • The post holder will already have advanced knowledge of Workday but will develop expert-level capabilities in configuring, implementing, testing, and deploying Workday functionality.
  • Will work with business representatives, typically the country HR Manager or Director or COE Leaders to capture and document new requirements to be fulfilled
  • Provide training and documentation to business as required, as well as developing SOPโ€™s for BAU.
  • Provide excellent customer service and responsiveness to all users of the HR systems and processes to be supported.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in implementing user-intensive systems; experience in HR systems highly preferred
  • Configuration experience within Workday is required
  • Functional HR experience, specific knowledge of HR processes such as Absence Management, is desired but not required
