Job Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines that support data transformation and storage for various applications and data systems.
- Work closely with other team members to understand their data needs, provide support in accessing and processing data.
- Develop and maintain database schemas, data models, and data access APIs for efficient and reliable data access.
- Understands company goals and practices to develop new software engineering methods or processes.
- Re-evaluate existing processes; designs simulation and test criteria and verifies functionality and performance.
- Working under limited direction and within general practices, provides technical expertise by independently determining and developing approaches to solutions for a wide range of complex data engineering problems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or other relevant studies
- Minimum 5 year of Data Engineering experience and comfortable working on Python projects
- Experience with NoSQL databases and big data stack such as Hadoop and HBase are desirable.
- Well-versed in Spark (both batch and stream processing), Kafka with expertise in writing SQL for relational databases including Oracle, MySQL, Postgres
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data architecture principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹2,000,000.00 – ₹2,500,000.00 per year
