Boeing Global Services is currently seeking a Mid-Level Product Data Management Engineer to become part of the Training Systems Program team in Hazelwood, MO.

The Training Systems Program team is responsible for data management, which involves tracking and reporting data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements.

The selected candidate will be a part of an organization where we provide industry leadership in commercial and defense aviation training and capabilities, including custom software development, engineering and technical services, and a range of services to support training centers and pilot provisioning worldwide. The candidate will work with a team of software engineers to provide simulated representation of aircraft, including all subsystems and simulate malfunctions to train the mechanic/warfighter. The team develops in an agile environment working with both internal Boeing teams, suppliers and customers all over the world.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with teams in the development, analysis, management, and compliance verification of process and product baselines of complex products.
  • Defines, plans, coordinates and conducts product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products.
  • Analyzes complex product trades and/or changes and develops technically complete change proposals.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes and tools.
  • Defines and allocates Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle. Coordinates the integration of product elements and analyzes & resolves issues with engineering product structure.
  • Develops, integrates and implements engineering technical program plans including impacts, risks and incorporation of lessons learned spanning multiple engineering functions.
  • Works under general direction.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options (Hazelwood, Mo).


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience performing data management.
  • 3+ yearsโ€™ experience in a role that required organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate multiple projects.
  • 3+ yearsโ€™ experience interfacing with all engineering disciplines and be able to work in a team environment and work independently as required.
  • Experience in project management.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience and knowledge of the Agile framework.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as VersionOne.
  • Experience with data management tools such as Customer and Supplier Data Transmittal (CSDT).
  • Experience documenting and publishing organizational processes.
  • Experience planning and prioritizing work.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.


Typical Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years’ experience in an engineering classification or a Master’s degree with typically 3 or more years’ experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.


Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense (Hazelwood, Mo).

Summary pay range: $95,200 โ€“ $128,800.
