Job Description:

The Boeing Company is seeking a motivated individual contributor to join our Supply Chain Operations Strategy team (Structures) located in Everett, WA.

The selected individual will develop and participate in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies. Individual will analyze and monitor supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunities. Develops mitigation plans. Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities. Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies.

Position Responsibilities:

• Build and manage schedules that support the operations strategy.

• Analyze production demand inventory, determine gaps and potential risk mitigations.

• Oversee, assist in managing and integrate work transfers associated with operation and contracting strategies.

• Identify risks within work transfers, ensure mitigation and elevate as needed.

• Lead cross functional teams to manage risk-mitigation strategies in support of supply chain strategies and objectives.

• Report plans, strategies and schedules to executive leadership.

• Develop and manage action logs to support overall supply chain strategy.

• Develop cadence and manage cross functional team meetings.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 8 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.

• More than 8 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.

• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills and presenting to executives.

• Experience working both independently and in team environments.

• Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project, OneNote, SharePoint).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in utilizing Tableau and reporting

• Experience with SAP

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Onsite, Telecommuting or Virtual Verbiage:

This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
