Team Introduction
AI for Science team has been focusing on tackling challenges in natural sciences including biology, physics, and materials, with computational tools such as Machine Learning, Computational Chemistry, High-throughput Computation.

Technical Assessment

Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of cutting-edge machine learning technologies in scientific areas like biology, physics, and materials.
- Following SOTA methods, gains deep understanding of broad areas in scientific area.
- Develop and test new ideas, end-to-end solving scientific problems.
- PhD degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent practical experience
- Final year or recent graduate with a background in Machine Learning, Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
- Familiar with many deep learning algorithms (CNN/RNN/LSTM/Transformer, etc.).
- Proficient in python or C/C++, and have solid programming skills.
- Familiar with at least one of the mainstream deep learning frameworks, like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Able to solve problems independently, good teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
- Curiosity towards new technologies and entrepreneurship
- High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in applying machine learning to scientific areas such as biology, materials, battery, quantum chemistry or molecular simulation.
- Experience with distributed computing, large-scale machine learning pipelines.
- Experience working as a core developer of existing large-scale deep learning research pipelines.
