Team Introduction
The Applied Machine Learning (AML) Research team is conducting cutting-edge research and development and drives substantial impact for core businesses of the company. Currently we are looking for Research Scientists to join our team to support and advance this mission. Some of our current research includes (but not limited to) the following areas:
1. Retrieval and recommendation algorithms.
2. Efficient training and inference.
3. Multi-modality modeling (NLP and CV).
4. Federated learning.

Responsibilities
Conduct cutting-edge research in the above areas and apply the technologies to different business scenarios.
- PhD in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent industrial research experience.
- Advanced machine learning research experiences with high-quality papers at top conferences like ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, KDD, ACL and CVPR.
- Proficient in python and C/C++, and have solid programming skills.
- Familiar with at least one of the mainstream deep learning frameworks, like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
- Able to solve problems independently, good teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated a related technical experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
- Curiosity towards new technologies and entrepreneurship
- High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
